Is it safe?
Yes, DioLaze has proven to be successful in developing safe hair removal systems. How does it work?
During the process of laser hair removal, light is absorbed by melanin in the hair shaft and is converted into heat energy, thereby raising the hair temperature. When the temperature is high enough, the hair follicles are impaired and thus growth of the hair is prevented. At the time of treatment, the laser disables hair follicles that are currently in their active growth cycle. Since other hairs will enter their growth cycle at different times, additional treatments may be necessary to disable all of the follicles in a given area.
Does it work on all hair colors?
DiolazeXL works best on darker, more pigmented hair. The higher the pigment, the more efficiently the laser can target, heat, and disable the follicle for long-term reduction. While DiolazeXL can still provide benefits for many clients, those with lighter (blonde, red, or grey) hair may experience less dramatic results compared to individuals with darker, more pigmented hair.

Yes! DiolazeXL is designed to work safely and effectively on a wide range of skin tones, making it an inclusive option for laser hair removal. Because DiolazeXL uses modern wavelength technology and optimized pulse delivery, it can adapt to different levels of melanin in both the skin and hair. How long does an appointment take?
Your appointment time will depend on the size of the area being treated. An upper lip treatment will take only about 5 minutes, whereas a treatment on both legs might take up to 45 minutes.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Prior to your laser hair removal treatment, you will need to let your unwanted hair grow out for a few days if you normally shave it. If you normally wax the area, you will need to wait a week or 2 until some hair has grown back to the area. You will also want to stay out of the sun- real or tanning bed- or use sun protection, and hydrate well. Well hydrated skin is proven to be healthier and promote faster healing.
What should I expect during the appointment?
Your provider will first assess your skin type to determine the proper laser settings. You will lay on a treatment bed while your provider cleans the area to be treated and applies a gel to the area. Your provider will then begin the treatment, running a laser of the area with unwanted hair. The laser will penetrate through the surface of your skin to reach the hair follicles, while the cooling tip will cool your epidermis (outer layer of skin). After the laser has targeted all of the unwanted hair in the area, your provider will clean off the gel and apply a topical cream to calm the skin.
When will I see results?
Results vary from person to person and can be seen as soon as right after the treatment to about 10 days after the treatment. Some follicles will loosen immediately, and some will take time. This is all highly individual and without a clear connection to hair or skin type.
How much does it cost?
The cost of laser hair removal is different for everyone depending on the size of the area treated and how many sessions it takes to see desired results. What do I do post-procedure?
It is important to follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment. Failure to comply with these instructions may increase the probability of complications.
Wear sunblock for at least three weeks after the procedure
Moisturizer or Aloe may be applied immediately after the procedure
Make-up may be worn immediately after the procedure
Erythema (redness) and edema (swelling) may be present for 1-3 days
